It is with great sorrow I want to inform you that Russell Johnson has past away. He was the former owner of Good Old RV's, and a great friend.

Russ enjoyed RVing with Faye traveling in their Ford F150 and trailer. Faye plans to continue traveling in his memory.

Hi,

I am thinking of buying a 1969 Norris Smokey Trailer. Does anyone have any information about these trailers? I have been searching on the internet, but basically have found nothing except the history of the company. Starting to think there aren't that many around any longer and that is not a good thing. Thanks for any information.

Hello!

Is anyone familiar with this old girl? She’s a 1963 Ford Traveller. The only thing I can find online was a brochure, which is close, but not exact. I did an image search, but came up,with nothing.

She is 20’, sits on a Ford F-350 chassis, has an aluminum shell with a propane stove/oven, ice box, sink and a table which converts into a bed. I will post interior photos soon.

I bought her in Oregon in 1991, we’ve been from the beaches of the pacific, to the mountains of Montana, but now she is in desperate need of some TLC. I hope to start the restoration project soon. Meanwhile, just want to put her out there to find any information I can.

Off for a short weekend trip in our 1993 class A. It occurred to me on the way out that in the last two years of intermittent trips, no one has waved at me. When I go out on my motorcycle my arm could get tired from waving. Jeep people seem to wave at each other. I kind of wondered why no RVer's waved at me. I figured it wasn't a thing. I have noticed that newer models seem to have tint such that you can't really see the occupants anyway though.

But on the return trip I spotted an oncoming class A of around the same vintage as mine and both the driver and passenger gave me big full arm waves. I nearly dislocated my arm to be sure to wave back before we passed each other. It was kind of neat.

So do people wave? Not so much? Or do I just need to get my coach out more. (OK, I know I need to do that.)
1971-73(?) Mobilux Cruiser dimensions neededtag:goodoldrvs.ning.com,2021-01-23:2093474:Topic:4170812021-01-23T13:35:55.191ZHeliarchttps://goodoldrvs.ning.com/profile/Heliarc

A house burned, and due to circumstances, this motorhome must be removed ASAP. I'm going after it. It's free for the taking but I'll have to foot the bill for hauling it out. It hasn't moved in years. I'm looking for the height, length from bumper to bumper, and length from the front bumper to the rear of the rear wheel. It's roached but it's a scarce thing and I think it can be saved.
