Just bought this beauty and have grand plans to turn her into a mobile art and writing workshop space.

Her interior has been restored fairly well, but the exterior needs some TLC and we are having so much trouble finding any information about this brand/year. Any recommendations on where we could find parts, a new door, and a new decal/logo specific to this brand? Any and all help would be appreciated! Going to go watch some of the video posts now...

Thanks, Pat! We have a blog, which I thought I posted but apparently didn't! It's www.maudeinthemaking.blogspot.com. The flooring was ripped up yesterday so we will have more photos soon...

Hi Amy; I am a new member to Good Old RV's and searched Covered Wagon and I was glad to see yours. I had never seen one with the loft. We have a 1964 that I am working on. There is no info on these models and they appear to be very rare. Yours looks great! What color are your appliances?

Hey there, Artbug, hadn't signed on for a while and just saw your reply! Great looking trailer, it's interesting to see the difference between 1964 and 1965. Our appliances were removed by the previous owner, all except the fridge which has been painted white. Not sure what color they were! We are actually happy not to have appliances because it's a better use of space for our mobile creativity unit, but they sure are cute when we see them in others. Do you have any interior photos? We just did a road trip with our kids and ended up in Elhart, IN at the RV Hall of Fame  and saw about 50 vintage travel trailers. Got to step inside most of them and take lots of photos. There was even a 1937 Covered Wagon, the original style. And best of all an emblem in a glass case. Our emblem was torn partially and we've removed it so we're on the hunt for one in better shape. If you ever see one let us know. Good luck with your trailer and keep in touch! www.food4thesoultrain.com

Hi Amy; My floor is also ripped up now and am waiting for Armstrong flooring to send 2 boxes of teal and white vinyl tile. We had a soft spot in the floor near the bathroom and placed a sheet of galvanized metal over it. I am painting the white with a turquoise color and just painted the roof with Mobilastic roof coating from Tractor Supply.I will try to post pics below or click on the picture of my covered wagon to see pics as it once was.

Hey there, just wondering how the flooring turned out. I'd love to see the turquoise and white! We just finished painting Maude. I think she looks pretty good for a DYI. We're hitting the road next week for a trip to Georgia. Can't wait for our first campout!

Nice flooring and cabinetry.  Very nice.
