I started the repair on the ceilings in the bedroom and bathroom of my trailer. Some of the wood is still good, but I will pull it all down and put up a new sheet. The foam backing on the vinyl is almost completely disintegrated. There is enough good pieces that I will be able to find suitable replacement. The bathroom appears to be the hardest part, only a 4 inch wide 20 inch long area is needing replacement, not sure how I will do that without pulling everything down. There is also a section in the bedroom going into the next panel that I will also have to figure out how to repair as it is 4 inches wide by 12 inches long. All in all not too bad, just more thinking outside the box to do a repair without destroying the overall appearance.

This is way easier a repair than the MMP turned into, so I am not the least bit discouraged.

I despise ceiling repairs involving tearing down the panels! It seems that the leaks travel so far from their origin in the roof to the ceiling it's like no matter where you think it started it's not the right place. Goood luck to you on the project. At least you will know all is right and done as it should be.

I know you will do a great job. You may try an oscillating saw it will give you a fine cut line making it easier to hide the repair. Good luck

Hi Russ, looks likes its going to work out for you. Your H/R trailer was well made when it was new.

Good to hear you've identified the repairs - although they sound challenging to repair in sections - but yes, after the MMP you are UP FOR IT!!!

Thanks, Dawn, encouragement is appreciated.
