Every trip out I get a little more comfortable with this thing. The new fan kept it nice and cool up the 4 1/2-mile climb into the Poconos where it got warm last time out. It rained the entire trip - it was my first time driving it in the rain. Turns out it's not a big deal - just wetter.
The oil leak did not reappear, so I guess I can call that fixed. Still have a small fuel leak to address.
We went out for the "Warrior Dash". I was registered but decided not to participate this year. It was 60-degrees and raining and I got to wondering why I would do that to myself? So, my GF and I hung back in the motorhome while 6 of our friends competed. The goal was to have a nice, hot outdoor shower waiting for them (the outdoor shower being my latest modification).
Well the new electronic thermostat on the HW heater failed. The water overheated and blew the pressure relief valve. I lost a lot of water by the time I could get it to cool down and close the valve. I was able to manually switch the HW heater on and off to keep the remaining water hot but not boiling. Everyone got a shower, but water was critically low by the time we were done.
All in all the RV made a great shelter, restroom and changing area for the competitors. I was content staying warm and dry inside while those psychos ran the obstacle course :)

Hot water heater starting functioning as it should today. Very odd. But the vendor is sending me a replacement thermostat anyway.
Finally got a new spare tire, too. The old one was shot and would rotate around the rim while I was driving. I have a spare tire cover so it must have looked pretty funny going down the road. I don't know at what rate it rotated, but I would find it in a different position every time I stopped. Got a Wanli (Chinese) tire to match the other 6 I got back in May. The 8R19.5 is getting tough to find. Now that I have a good spare, I'm guaranteed to never get a flat!
