I HAVE A 1990 VOGUE (GAS) AND THE BACKUP CAMERA SYSTEM ISNT WORKING. ITS A PANASONIC GP-RV-111 CAM AND GP-RV-112 MONITOR. THE MONITOR HAS POWER BECAUSE THE AMBER LED IS ON AND THE CAMERA HAS GOOD CONNECTION WITH COAX BUT I CANT ACCESS MONITOR MOUNT BECAUSE IM NOT SURE HOW TO DISASSEMBLE THE PADDED HEADBOARD/CONSOLE ASSY. ANYONE EVER MESS WITH THIS ARRANGEMENT?

IF PHOTOS WOULD HELP, LET ME KNOW.
Hey Kirby, Pat asked me if I could help you. As of now I have more questions then answers. But there is usually a dress up ring around the monitor you need to pop off to get to the screws that secure the monitor. It depends on the monitor. But more to the point now is, what happened between the time it last worked and when it didn't work. Power on the monitor is good but, was the lighten/darken knob played with, contrast maybe. If that does nothing was the coax unplugged for any reason? There are a mess of very tiny pins in that plug and it is very easy to bend one as you plug it in to one another. I have done it myself a few times and never knew it until I discovered nothing worked. Just a thought. Get back to me if nothing helps with any additional info you may have and I'll try to come up with something else.
