Just an FYI, the CLEAR spray-on water sealants are ABSOLUTE GARBAGE!!!

TOTALLY yellowed within a couple months and then cracked all out...!!

The black seems to work okay.

The caulking-style sealant are great, however............

Ive repaired a few coaches with flexseal on them. This product is difficult to remove and is only suitable for screendoors on rowboats. I use lexel or vulkem on the sides and whatever appropriate on the roof sections. On metal roofs thats liquid roof or equivalent...
liquid roof is almost pure EPDM and is mixed with a catylist. once applied, its touched up with epdm caulk.

lexel is a clear caulk found at ace. runs nicely and holds up well.

vulkem is a one component urethane, think sikaflex, but half the price. available in white, is slow to cure and last a long time

I used the sikaflex on the Palace when I bought it in the fall of 2014. It is a very good product and still looks as good now as when I put it on. the only draw back to it is the price $ 14- $15 per tube. Ill have to check out that Vulkem if it is comparable to the Sikaflex. I tend to stick with what I find to work and I really like the Sikaflex but, the price is a deterrent on the face of it;  over time though it's a good investment because holds up well.

ive used both...the sika is the best...no doubt. its smooth and creamy and gives a great finish. the vulkem is more grainy yet will still give a good enough appearance. both are one component polyurethane and very durable, lasting a long time and retaining appearance and function.

Keep anything silicone based away from your unit. stick with Dave's advice; he is the go to guy for all things R.V.

Good to know.  What's up, Robert?  Stalker...lol!
