New RV!
Well folks, I've done it! I went and picked up my new RV yesterday. Its a 1980 Chevy Itasca Sundancer 23 ft, I haven't actually put a tape measure to it. On a scale of 1 to 10 I would say its an 8. It has some minor water damage from roof air but all in all its in good shape. Has a newer transmission and recent motor work(with receipts). Has a 4.0 Onan genny that works and all new upholstrey. 6 new tires, which I found out are oddball tires and hard to acquire. I'm very plesed and will get pictures up as soon as I can. Unfortunately duty calls and I have to go to work.
I will keep in touch, especially for tips on replacing paneling on the inside. Thanks for the welcome. David

Hey, DAvid. Congrats on your classic Itasca purchase! They're nice rigs and easy to get mechanical parts for and I like that!

Hey thanks Pat, so far I am loving it. I drove it about 300 miles home and it drove like a charm. Mileage was even ok for a box on wheels. I'll post more and better pics later.

Hey, thanks Michael. I really like that pic too. Here's a place we use to hang out in Costa Rica and drink lots of Guaro (rum). We got to watch them haul it in, put it together and turn it into one of the most unique watering holes we've been to....
Just looked at some of your pic's --love this one --saved it to a file and will send to a old friend ,who sent me a series of photos of a old 727 jet converted into a house ---overlooking a beach.
