Renovating a 1961 Maronette Travel Trailer - Suggestions Appreciated!
We just bought a 1961 (we think) Maronette Travel Tailer which we will need to put a lot of work in on. We posted pictures of what it looks like today. We are especially interested in how the fold out couch in the back looks since the people we got ours from replaced it with a full size bed. We want to restore it to the way it was. Any other suggestions or information on the Maronette Travel Trailer would be appreciated. Anyone know how much the camper weighs?

From what Ive seen in your pictures,, you look like the 1600 Lb to 2,000lb class,, But to get an accurate weigh , you can go to truck stop and get a weigh, and you will have a weigh slip for verification purposes and can contest a taxing fee if they charge you to much . The older Rv's weigh a bit more then newer ones, due to the fact they were built better, with REAL wood.
