I replaced the interior walls of my 79 Dodge Brougham with new plywood. My question is before I finish them do I need to seal them with either Kilz or some other substance. I plan on covering them with padded marine vinyl.

If it were me, I would have sealed the plywood before I installed it, edges and faces.  Thus preventing the wood from deteriorating from unexpected water entry. Because it is not a matter of if, it is a matter of when, because all RVs will leak at some point or another.

So, yes, I say seal what you can, it may help in the future.

Thanks Russ. What do you recommend using as a sealant?

If you are not going to glue the marine vinyl to the wood, I would use Thompson's Water Seal.  If you are going to glue it then I would use the Kilz primer.  I am not sure glue will stick to the Thompson's.  I know you cannot paint over the Thompson's so that is why I question whether glue will hold.
