Well, first I would like to say how much I would have liked to make the Jam and had thought I would traipse over there after the Indy race at Mid Ohio Sunday afternoon but was not able to follow through with my plans. I will say that the weekend at the track was one of the best I've had and that goes for the Palace as well. the trip was flawless from start to finish and the races was all that and more. I found a very nice little State Park located just 16 miles from the track that I would highly recommend to any one looking for a low key quiet place to take a weekend trip to central Ohio. Mt Gilead state park not a big place but nice. My old Palace performed so well, not a single hiccup even used the shower for the first time. I never realized how nice it is not to have to get up in the morning or stay up late so you can get that hot shower at the bath house. No more of that non since for me. My middle son spent the weekend with me and we had a good time; he brought my bike over and we road from camp to the track both days and it too was wonderful. He just completed a 9,400 mile western motorcycle tour of the western U.S. It is very gratifying to see your children be able to do the things you always wanted to do. All the hard work and sacrifice you put into raising your kids and see them excel makes it all worth it. Getting off topic I know but I'm a proud papa so deal with it L.O.L. Any way just thought I would check in and update. The Palace is up and ready to go again and I hope it won't be to long before we hit the road again. Oh by the way I really need an air conditioner, 90 is hot no matter where your at wow.
