1970 dodge chinook 2200

Rare find, 1970 chinook 2200 dodge chassis motor home. looks like odometer must have rolled over to 114,000 miles ? This is a non running RESTORATION project. 318 motor,  auto, exterior  straight, has hydraulic motorcycle lift rear bumper, shower, toilet, sink,  double kit sink, stove oven, micro wave, tv ant, real wood interior,(needs repair from water intrusion from windows) a/c and swamp cooler, electric rear sliding bed.  I searched online for days looking for another one of these and came up with NONE. Older and newer but not 1970. I do have quite a few used parts avail for the restoration if needed. You can bet no one else in town will have one of these.  calls only to 6pm, 530-529-3842 for more info and pics.

UPDATE

Well, some time has passed and i was able to tend to this old girl. After installing a new fuel tank, line flush, and carb kit, she fired right up, no noises or smoke. This renewed my faith and i decided to keep going. New brake system including drum turn, shoes, seals, bearing pack. fresh diff oil, cover seal  and wheel cylinders. Drives and stops now but need to do vacumm pots ($140). Stove , oven and Roof a/c work. Installed to roof vent cover savers. Comes with parts and material for rebuild. Started water pump replacement and forgot to stop. I am now looking at the pistons.  Cylinders looks good, sending heads in this week, oct 3 13. Have not checked all on the rv side. Also have the title in hand now to facilitate sale. Again,  no time to continue restoration, so am offering her for sale for $1500 before the head job.  Bring your trailer and passion!
