Hi there everyone.
I recently receive a message asking about the condition of our Pace Arrow. This is basically the way we got it. I did some cleaning but not much at all. Just a little laundry. The bathroom is not original. Well it is, but there is no commode. So we have an assortment of medical port a potties and I decided to use one for this. Other than that and the bed is just a big very comfortable piece of foam rubber, the rest is original and all pretty much still works, even the propane refrigerator.
Where we live, it is a retirement/resort sort of community. We really got it for evacuation purposes. With the Erskine fire here it was a Godsend that we had it, as we were evacuated. Our home survived, but due to asthma and a long term lack of electricity we were better served in our Motor home at a much safer place than our home was at the time. So in answer to another question, no we have not taken it on long distance trips.
I would love to vacation in this, but there is quite a bit that still needs to be done before either of us would feel safe taking it very far. Mostly just maintenance stuff, but it takes a bit of getting used to driving any vehicle with "drum brakes", after driving newer vehicles.
Well this has been pretty long winded, even for me. So I hope you all have a very happy day and night. I am going to watch our first rain of the season.
Stephie
