Now that's the spirit!!!! :-)
DW and I have been walking on the wood floor for about 2 years. I think this year will also see the floor get done as I will have a wide open area up front to lay now that the sofa is out and the dinette is next in my sights. So do not let that stop you. As Dawn said throw down some rugs and go for it.
On your paint MK, could it be the difference between the lighting source. If you don't want to repaint could you highlight with an accent stripe of lighter or darker color just down a bit from where the two main colors meet. Just a suggestion i'm not a painter or decorator, heck I'm fine with burlap bags for window dressings for crying out loud, LOL. I just read you post and felt bad for you. Good luck with your project.
Fingers crossed for you then - and I feel your pain! But, throw some rugs down and ENJOY the camping :-)
Oh how frustrating!!! We had that recently with some paint - the dab of color on the top is right, but not the color in the can. Only thing we could think is we didn't mix it up enough. In our case it's lighter so we could take it back to have pigment mixed in. That's not going to work in your case...dang!! Well, maybe it'll be better after it dries and have it up? Sandstorm? So a little more tan?
Oh, how lovely against the blonde wood - danish modern? I do love your style from the snippets in the photos - I know your camper is going to be just lovely. Be sure to leave time in the marathon sessions for photos :-)
Went this morning and forked out the money for the new dinette foam - it was an ouch but I'd priced it and knew it was coming. I couldn't have gotten it cheaper online - and these folks cut it to size and spray-glued the batting on it so I'm not complaining.
Also picked up the fabric for the dinette (it's lime - with a bit of a raised geometric pattern) $8.99 a yard, then I splurged on a yard of white, blue and red floral for the dinette curtain at $23 a yard. There's just a tad bit of gold running through it to 'talk to' the lime but it's more about being neighbors than trying to pick up a color between the two. Those will be the primary things you see coming so I wanted color there for sure. I might have extra of the dinette fabric and if so will use it to cover the valance potentially.
I think we're falling into sort of a Florida's 50's atomic tiki lounge look? If there is such a thing...!!
