So is Kansas flat as a pancake?

Arkansas is flat, no doubt about it. We have towns named Flat Rock, Ash Flat, Big Flat, and Hickory Flat. The following article is not about Arkansas, but Kansas. The saying 'flat as a pancake' can…Continue

So is Kansas flat as a pancake?

Arkansas is flat, no doubt about it. We have towns named Flat Rock, Ash Flat, Big Flat, and Hickory Flat. The following article is not about Arkansas, but Kansas. The saying 'flat as a pancake' can describe many areas, but the question was posed "Which is flatter, Kansas or a pancake?" Well for those with inquiring minds who want to know here is your answer: …See More

One Down, Two To Go.

I finally got a hold of one side tool box and got it installed on my pickup. Had several lined up but by the time I got to them someone else had snatched them up. One of the drawbacks to living in a sparsely populated area, it takes time to drive to where these items are located.

Anyway here are pictures of the first successful install.…

Trip to Arizona

Day 1, Monday 8-22-16:

I was planning on leaving the house at 2PM today, so as per usual we left at 3PM. Which is better than the 4PM it would normally have been. When DW finally realized that US 412 is mostly a 2 lane highway she got noticeably upset. Being the well trained husband that I am I answered "Yup, it sure is." maybe not one of my better responses but it got the point across and dagger stares for the next 50 miles.

For those of you who have not traveled US 412 across…

Montana Bound

well as per usual we got a late start.  DW thinks the day does not begin until 1PM so it was 1:30 when we got on the road.

Got stuck on the freeway for 3 hours on I55N, no sign of a wreck or construction when the traffic started clearing so don't know what the problem was.

Got to the KOA in Eureka, MO about 10PM.  Some out of the road but could not locate a RV Park on our main route so made this 30 mile detour LOL.

More fun and games to be…

Thank You Russ.  This is a new adventure and undertaking for us.  We have replaced water damaged boards in our 5th-wheel and are hoping this will go as smooth. Now if I could only find out some kind of information on this particular camper.

We may be calling on you for resources.

Thank you, Russ, for the kind words.  I'm really looking forward to getting involved in this site.  I'll be full of questions, for sure, and this looks like a great place to find some answers.  First, though, I'll look around and see if some of them have already been addressed.

Thanks again, Patty

Thanks Russ.

I do have a question. Do you or anyone you know, have any knowledge of the Robin Hood Cadet travel trailers? I have a 1962 Robin Hood. And not find a whisper about them. Please help!

There is scant info on the net.

Thanks,

Steve
