help with Grumman 1970 restoration.

Hi,

I am looking for a place that may have a fuel tank I can adapt for my 1970 Grumman.  Have tried several auto parts places but can't seem to find the correct sending unit.  I have the tank but no sending unit or pick up.  Any info on RV salvage yards would be most helpful.

Rebuilt the brakes engine is 350 Chevy and runs great, using portable boat tank for now/  Looking for permanent solution.  In North Central Florida.

Refurb Complete!

It took a year but the camper is finally in ship shape! Re-done underside, new braking system, paint, new tires, re-furbed interrior, new electricals, gas........etc!!! It was well worth the time, energy and money spent. We have brought this old girl sitting out in a field back to life. We are gearing up for its maiden voyage in 2 weeks. Although we have just hung out in it in the driveway a few times. You forget where you are when you are in a vintaged camper, especially when its… Continue

New Toy, Old Traveling House. What to do next ?

I recently received a 1969 Fleetwood Prowler from my Dad that he picked up "cheap". Saw it sitting in a freinds field. (last licensed 2001) He loaned it to me one week-end and now, I wanna keep it. He says "yes" ....

So .. what next ? I have no idea what some items are for or how they work since obviously, I really doubt there is a manual out there. (I've searched)

There is some obvious leaking and currently working on sealing up the roof. Then I'd like to remove the panel in…

Bought a Diamond-in-the-Rough!

Hi!  We just bought our first motorhome.  We had a couple of slide-ins (still have the big S & S, plus truck, that we're hoping to replace) and a parade of used 5th wheels, before buying new in '04.  (We live fulltime in it--the MH is our escape vehicle!)  We've had to fix more stuff on the 'new' one…

My new restoration project

Hi everyone, I am in Rhode Island.  I love the outdoors and I have never restored a trailer before.  Right now, between getting my garden going and housework (very little of that LOL) I have been restoring vintage sewing machines. Yes, that is quite a jump, but I have been following blogs and websites on vintage trailers and one day I saw a fixer-uper on Craig's list and had to have her.…

newbie-68 Holiday Vacationer Info Wanted

Hey all I'm a newbie, just got a great little travel trailer(photos to come) anyone has any info on a 1968 Holiday Vacationer? Really looking for a manual. I understand Holiday was bought out in the late 90's and that company has no records of models previous. Mines in great shape needs little service work. Any suggestions welcome.
