No I did not drop off the face of the planet

It has been pretty hectic here at home. The old GMC camper we worked on has done two excursions and performed flawlessly! We did break down and get a satellite set up because we are TV junkies.

I also have other interests as well. in my little shop in the basement I build custom motorcycles and have been doing so long before American Chopper hit the TV airways. I know that this is a camper forum

but many of the skills I used on the camper came in handy on this bike.

Last year I traded for an old 1976 Honda CB750 it was pretty ragged out when I got it but I went to work on it and made a few changes here and there. Went through the motor. cut and hand fabricated a new rear section for the frame. made a few custom parts such as the electrical box Suicide shift mechanism, new seat- Took and old Harley front fender re manufactured it-turned it backwards and mounted to my bike. To update the machine I added LED turn signals and hand made oil tank and many more parts..Anything mechanical is always of interest to me and I love taking trash and making treasure out of it. Right now I am customizing a 1980 Harley for a client.

Here are the before and after photos -I am also working on a matching trailer to pull behind the ole GMC camper so we can take the bike too.

I know what it is I like about the bike -
From the tank forward she looks like old school English/Indian and from the seat back kinda' like an old school Harley hardtail...
