So ready to get going on the RV remodel! Just brought the "new" RV home 2 days ago. We got a great deal on it, which is a really good thing cuz I got 7.....yes, 7!!..... bags of trash out of it yesterday and hope to finish de-trashing it tomorrow morning. Nothing too gross (except that it was somebody else's trash). But still.....eeeewwww!! But everything still works on the RV and the outside isn't in too terrible condition. We're going to try to get it as clean as possible tomorrow and get some "before" pictures taken.

Sorry for the delay in answering you. I had to get Jack to look at it....he's my personal mechanic :o)

If it's like ours, which it probably is, the white wire goes to the negative battery terminal. The two reds go together to the positive terminal. One of the red wires goes to the vehicle hook-up for charging the battery as it's being pulled. The other red goes to the ac 12 volt converter which operates 12 volt lights when trailer is not plugged into a110 outlet.

Does that help?

Oh no! I hope you're able to find something online then. And I hope we are able to either get a manual or find some info online. My husband is pretty savvy about all that stuff.....one of the many reasons I keep him around! :o)

We didn't get any books with our either. But I did find this information on the Internet:

Fleetwood Motor Homes Parts and Service
Attn: Owner's Manual
1010 Commerce Drive
Decatur, IN 46733
Please include the make, model, year and Fleetwood Identification Number with your request. We hope this information is helpful. If we can be of any further assistance, please contact us at our toll-free number, (800) 322-8216

I'm going to contact them tomorrow and hopefully be able to send in my $8.00 for the manual. Maybe you'll have luck getting an owners manual, too.

We're going to have to replace the ceiling vent covers as well. Luckily we have a good RV supply near where we live. Hopefully they will be able to help us with any replacement items. Ours is also missing the fridge....no big deal. That will allow us to pick out the fridge we want plus incorporate a microwave above it.

It had the original curtains / valances in it so we thought "let's see if we can salvage them!" Well, one trip through the gentle cycle of the washing machine took care of those curtains! LOL That's fine....I sew a little and curtains / valances are the easiest things to make. And that way we can pick fabric that will go with our interior. We want to keep it as true to the era as possible.....but I've nixed the orange....can't do orange....no, no, no. Just a personal preference.

We'll be checking out y'all's page often! Hope y'all will check back with our page often, also. I'm thinking that by posting pictures and updates it will make us somehow accountable to stay on task!! :o)

Hi Connie and Jack, thanks for your commen. Im new to this site as well. |Got a great deal on the Taurus but I have no books on it. Do you happen to have the books on yours? They might be similar. Looking forward to pictures of yours. All I had to do was add some more plywood to my floor and the tiles were already in the trailer when I got it. I also had to replace 3  of the celing vent covers and 2 caps on the  stacks and voila Im good to go. I have it on a seasonal site now. Havent tried everything out yet (had to find out where things were first lol). The fridge was missing but I had a truck camper that was done and I stole the fridge from it. Its fun to fix these up and see just how good we can make them.
