Thanks Lakota, I am afraid if I told "she who must be obeyed" we were going to have to spend MORE money on the RV I would be living under it.
My solar panels have the *Blurry effect as well,, I was curious and used my test meter and verified the voltage/wattage and there was very little difference from when new. I wouldnt worry about the discoloration factor,(blurry), But if you feel the need to double check,, use a volt meter to check out put voltage. I have talked with several RV'ers who are using monocrystaline (glass panel ), and they agreed, they last about 5 to 6 yrs before slowly losing the ability to maintain the voltage and wattage as from new.It basically depends on the location your in,, Im in Mid Texas and our Texas sun can put a serious beating on the glass panels with the temps hovering in the triple digits during the summer months.
