Good morning, Sleeth;

Sorry, not so.  The trains carry their own conductors, yes, but bribing them will not do any good.  The train stops at the border, a copy of the passenger list is turned over to the border guards, and some of the border guards or USCIS personnel do get on the train and walk through it, asking to see passports and other identification, and asking if there are any items to declare for Customs.

Enjoy;    Ralph, Latté Land, Washington

>GRIN< Hahahaha, Oh boy! In Canada were not allowed to tow anything other than the "trailer" We can't tow a trailer and a trailer boat at the same time. I'd say you did well. When Lauren and I go State side and coming back home we empty everything out. Mainly because I can never remember what you can and can't bring into the country in regards to food. No smokes and no food and no booze. Can you yes. Do we know and we've "touch wood " have never been stopped. 90% of the time the both Customs Agents have been great. But DON'T F#@k with them they got more power than GOD. They can make your life miserable. Yes SIR, No SIR, Three bags full SIR. Have a nice day. Thank you very much SIR and your on your way.

Canada is a fun country to cross through enroute from Michigan to upstate New York,,the 401/402 is a nice stretch of nothing, Border stations are a treat for the un-informed,,lol, to say the least.I get the 100 questions about the LOUD exhaust and using the jake brake,, not a good thing to do while pulling up to the gate,And having the fridge and cup boards fully stocked is another thing,,,, a lot of good food got tossed. Got held up for 2 hours while several border patrol agents decided what do do about me having $60 in quarters in center console.They still couldnt decide if towing a 5th wheel and a lincoln on a tow dolly behind it was actually legal, but they let us pass through.. They are very nice over all, and did respect us, as we did them..

Good morning, all;

Nice to see that there has been additional discussion here.

Coming back this time was really quite easy.  We took the truck crossing in Blaine instead of the normal vehicle crossing at the Peach Arch.  Quite easy, and just the normal questions, and he did ask that I turn off the 454 in the motor home so he could hear.  I wonder what he will say when the Banks stainless steel exhaust system is completed?.  He did note that the other person with me did not have the same last name.  However, the necessary passports had been presented, so they had all the records they needed.  Yes, traveling to other countries is not what it once was.

Flying is not what it once was any more, either, which is why I am doing a lot more driving now.

Anyway, the "friendlies" were fun, and I was satisfied with the way that TeamUSA performed against the Canadian MNT.

And the Canadian Men's National Team now is off to Brazil.  They earned it.  Good luck to them.  They will meet Germany first on August 6th, and at some point they will need to meet Argentina again.

Nice to be back home.  Enjoy'
