I'm here to congratulate on you being "featured". Can someone tell me what "featured" means? Is there a page for featured RV'ers or something that I can read?
Dawn ,its best to tarp cover during cold rainy ugly nasty weather,,, roof sealers and such dont bond very well in wet conditions. Thats a project for better weather days.. The plus side,, it gives you the excuse to tinker on the inside,,, you know,, those little things that you want to do, but usually fall on a nice sunshiney day when you don't really want to be inside. This is the time to do those little projects. You sound as if its Christmas morning with a new toy and just cant wait to play,, I admire your enthusiasm.. Have fun and enjoy.. and dont forget, take pictures.
thanks for the comment back i do love my old winnie almost as much as i do Mount n Dew that's why its called the Mount n do me winnie i will let you decipher what it means my daughter named it that but its her first RV experiences and she is the same age now that i was when my great uncle introduced me to the RV world and been loveing it ever since
Dawn my advice don't delay every minuet you delay is 10 minuets of fun and enjoyment you are missing i have a 1976 Winnie and i wanted to buy one in 1976 when this thing was new instead i waited till 2015 to get mine so that is 39 yrs of fun and enjoyment i have missed out on all because i delayed for one thing or another. when you do jump make sure you will get one you can be not only happy in but also proud to own and as for repairs look at it this way your brick and morter home has to have repairs on all the time too so this way your investing in your enjoyment good luck and happy camping

Iam looking for tailights for our 1982 Travelmate motorhome. They have 3 lenses and are surface mount. They were very common in the 70 and 80 not made anymore. Looking to purchase a pair.
