I don't spend much time in front of the camera as other's do. I just figure folks don't need to look at me, they want to see what I'm working on. As for the shag, I hear you! I am still not totally sold on installing hardwood or something like that in my RV. I'd go with new carpet only because it's much nicer on the feet and sound deadening. I don't know how the brown/gold/ orange thing got going in the late '70's - 80's.
Good to hear that Danial, I have read some of your post and find them quite interesting, Looking forward to reading. I have a few projects I want to get into the Palace, mostly cosmetics but things that I think will make the old girl a little more user friendly and appealing. One is to de-shag her. The carpet may have been the latest and greatest back in the late 70's but I'm over it now. There is only so much brown and gold shag you can take; even if it is in near new condition. the next is a new power inverter and maybe LED lighting. everything else works fine for me but I really want to up grade if Time and money can be stretched far enough to cover the desires.
