Hello my first post here. Well my first RV was a 1979 Dodge Chinook which turned out to need a lot of work which I got for $700 plus the $200 tow when it died on the way home, so it was became a $900 Chinook. Then my second purchase, a 24ft Pace Arrow which has much more potential than the Chinookie. I found the Arrow for $600. Popped a couple batteries and drove it away to the previous owners disapointment, until it died on the way home. I will be selling the Chinookie if anyone is interested,…

Propane detector with valve controltag:goodoldrvs.ning.com,2011-01-31:2093474:Topic:508612011-01-31T13:55:45.842ZThe Kartchner'shttps://goodoldrvs.ning.com/profile/TheKartchners
The propane detector on my 83 Pace Arrow, no longer works, the light does not come on , nor alerts and seems to be dead, I pull it off the wall and tested all 4 wires 2 red, a yellow and a black, and each has voltage being it lit up my test lamp. so I guess I must now locate and install a new propane detector with valve control. My question is this, being all for wires lit my test lamp I would assume that being I get no gas delivery to my stove etc, the solenoid valve must be normally open,…

My question is this, being all for wires lit my test lamp I would assume that being I get no gas delivery to my stove etc, the solenoid valve must be normally open, being the yellow wire has power to it, and the valve must be closed due to lack of gas, if I went ahead and cut that yellow wire would it tune the solenoid off allowed gas to flow, doe that sound reasonable?
The detector had a Manchester label on it but I think instead it may be a CCI 7719, based on the wiring diagram and a photo I located on line, but being it has not marking what so ever I have no positive proof. 83 Fleetwood Pace Arrow and Chassis questionstag:goodoldrvs.ning.com,2010-07-13:2093474:Topic:311822010-07-13T17:40:45.306ZThe Kartchner'shttps://goodoldrvs.ning.com/profile/TheKartchners

OK I just bought fleetwoods down loadable owner's manual, and I guess I now need the chassis Operator's Manual for this motor-home, can anyone directed me to the best source?

One question I could not get answered in this owners manual is about the side mirrors. I have been able to get them to move up and down but not from side to side, and I do not want to run the risk of breaking them, can anyone please advise me on the correct method to get these mirrors adjusted correctly…

One question I could not get answered in this owners manual is about the side mirrors. I have been able to get them to move up and down but not from side to side, and I do not want to run the risk of breaking them, can anyone please advise me on the correct method to get these mirrors adjusted correctly so I can see behind me with no problems, something I can not now do with the way the former owner had them adjusted?

I see that this is going to be a learning process.
