I have been searching for months for the two-piece speedometer cable for my 1978 Dodge Monaco (Dodge f40/MB400 chassis) but though I have had three separate cable sets that parts suppliers insisted were the right ones, none were.
The problem seems to be in the Cruise Control equipped vehicles, where two cables, one about 26" long and the other about 108" long, are required. It is apparently easy to find cables for the non-cruise-control equipped models. I have now given up on the parts…

Does anyone have any constructive suggestions, or similar experiences that ended in finding the cables? It is difficult to believe that with so many Class C motorhomes built on the 1-ton chassis with the Dodge 440 and 727 transmission, it is so hard to find these parts.
Any assistance will really be appreciated. Norcold N841 board problemstag:goodoldrvs.ning.com,2013-11-12:2093474:Topic:1860822013-11-12T23:30:07.535ZHal Johnsonhttps://goodoldrvs.ning.com/profile/HalJohnson

I am have been having a refrigerator problem - kept blowing the 5 amp glass AC fuse when turning the fridge on. I figure it had to be the board, so ordered a replacement. I ordered the kit that includes the optical control board, and replaced both boards. It didn't fix the problem. I then searched the web some more, and realized that I should have checked the heater element first - it was bad. So I replaced that and it worked - the fuse doesn't blow any more. But now I have a new problem! The fridge turns on fine, but only cycles AC and AU - no FL. Then of course in stops on AC and goes to the little dot indicating that its on. But when I press the Temp Set or Mode buttons nothing happens. And a couple of minutes later I get the 'dr' fault - although the doors are securely closed. I realize that I probably won't get this fixed on time for my trip this Thursday (2 days away!) and I'll have to camp with coolers. But I'm hoping to fix it soon enough for December camping. I'd be grateful for any suggestions.
Propane detector with valve controltag:goodoldrvs.ning.com,2011-01-31:2093474:Topic:508612011-01-31T13:55:45.842ZThe Kartchner'shttps://goodoldrvs.ning.com/profile/TheKartchners
The propane detector on my 83 Pace Arrow, no longer works, the light does not come on , nor alerts and seems to be dead, I pull it off the wall and tested all 4 wires 2 red, a yellow and a black, and each has voltage being it lit up my test lamp. so I guess I must now locate and install a new propane detector with valve control. My question is this, being all for wires lit my test lamp I would assume that being I get no gas delivery to my stove etc, the solenoid valve must be normally open,…

My question is this, being all for wires lit my test lamp I would assume that being I get no gas delivery to my stove etc, the solenoid valve must be normally open, being the yellow wire has power to it, and the valve must be closed due to lack of gas, if I went ahead and cut that yellow wire would it tune the solenoid off allowed gas to flow, doe that sound reasonable?
The detector had a Manchester label on it but I think instead it may be a CCI 7719, based on the wiring diagram and a photo I located on line, but being it has not marking what so ever I have no positive proof.
