Hello there,

I have a 1972 Winnebago Chieftain and looking for anyone who has experience in reskinning the Aluminum siding on a motorhome or trailer. Also, if there are any companies that can do this, I would appreciate their contact info. Thanks, Ken

We have a 1965 Aloha 15' trailer that we lovingly named Lulu. She is functional and in the 2 1/2 years we have had her, she has gone all over Washington state, plus Idaho, Utah, Colorado, Wyoming, & Montana, but she really does need some reconstruction. I believe that some of her support structure has dry rot. I really need to take off her aluminum siding to check, but here is my problem; what happens if I damage the siding? Is there a way to replace it and how do I find…

I am a novice at best and I have been reading a lot of blogs about how to replace the framing but they never talk about replacing damaged siding. I am terrified to start if I won't have any skin to put back on her.

I would really appreciate advice or point me in the direction of other resources for RV remodeling.

Thank you so much in advance for your help.
