Hi,
I am new here and not sure where to start. I have come into possession of a ?1949? M-system Coach/Travel Trailer. I did some research online and think it is a 1949. I could be older, but it only has one brake light and they stared using 2 in 1950. It also has curved windows in the front of the trailer. The condition of the trailer is pretty good considering its age. There are 5 spots where the floor is bad/soft. There was a leak in the ceiling around a roof vent. There is a little damage to the wood paneling, but I think it is repairable. I am going to rewire the 120 V system. The fuse box is under the sink, there is isolation right against the outlets (no boxes), mice have chewed on it, etc. I also plan to re-insulate the trailer after I do the rewiring. To do this I need to remove the wood paneling. Any suggestions on how to remove the wood without damaging it? The wood is nice and I want to reinstall it after the wiring/insulating is done. Thanks in advance for your help.

Pat thank you. Any help is greatly appreciated.
Tracy - Go to Youtube and watch some of the camper trailer restorations people have posted there. Just watching someone else might help you. I think you're right about the trailer's age. Have you ever watched the Lucille Ball movie, "The Long, Long Trailer?" Your trailer looks somewhat like the trailer in that movie which was made in the early 50s. Best of luck, you have a real gem there!
