I am contemplating buying my first motor home despite favoring vintage trailers. I don't have a car I can tow with and financing a motor home is more economical (interest rates) than a tow trailer. Is anybody has knowledge about a Doge Balboa Motor Home. Is 123K is reasonable milage? Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

Hi, A RV (class A or C ) is like a buying a car. First thing take it to a good mechanic and have him/her do a used car check. Brakes, comp check, ect ect. Then take it to a RV dealer and have them check it top to bottom. Leaks, appliances, systems, ect. It will cost a few bucks but like buying a used car can save you hundreds if not thousands down the road. It's also good for price negotiations. And like anyone on here can tell you. It will break and you will have things to fix and repair. But if you talk to the guys with the brand new fancy rigs they spend a lot of time at the shop getting things fixed as well. Hope this helps, Tony, Joy and Cool Paw Luke
