My husband and I bought a '77 Apollo 3000 RB about 2 months ago.  LOVE IT!!

This is crazy.....We can not find the batteries.  The manual says they are in a storage compartment on the side, but we have found nothing.  My husband can barely get it started and when he does it keeps dying.  Even when we connect the power cord to charge the batteries they will not hold the charge.  We are stumped.  We are new to the RV world and know very little about them, let alone a vintage.  I called an RV dealer and they don't know anything.  They said maybe the previous owner removed them.  Not sure how you can start it without the batteries.  Please help if you can!

Thank you!!
