Ok riddle me this. Has anyone one tried to put a 4 speed automatic in their motorhome? Meaning a three speed with overdrive. I recently burned up my TH400 trany and since I'm going to have to pull it I figured might as well put in a 4 speed. Any information would be greatly appreciated.
Well..... It was a combination of a quart low on transmission fluid and tires settling in the ground. When I rocked her back and forth and got her out I smelled clutch. Now it only has first year and it goes forward it drive reverse and neutral. I think the main clutch pack is welded together.
