Recently got a 1987 Pace Arrow LB 34 that the sides -which I believe are plastic are waffling and an area has separated from the frame. They bow out. i have used some duck tape to try to seal them as i am getting it ready for a 1600 mile trip back to Texas. any thoughts ? I bought some liqluid nail but I cannot keep enought  pressure to make it bond it seems...

Hi Charles,I park the rig next to a solid wall of a building. Then I  use pieces of plywood and 2x4's to hold the repair in place.

Charles, Ive owned all sorts of different brands of motorhomes over many years and dont think I owned any (that were over 15 years old)  that didn't have some degree of DELAMINATION (what I call it if its what I think it is???). (This was on fiberglass sides not like aluminum siding)  Its caused by moisture penetration and old glues breaking down etc etc etc. In some cases Ive drilled a 1/4 inch hole inside to out and used stainless steel bolts n nuts and fender washers and those pretty plastic stars etc etc to draw it in but still look half way nice. If theres a way to get construction adhesive in there and then hold the sides in till they seal fine I guess but you really gotta look for small leaks or the problem wont go away. I think delamination sort of goes with the territory in older RV's
