Kimberly, look up Sisters on the Fly's site- there is a link on the home page. Their trailers and creative fun will give you great ideas for the finishing touches and decorations. My hubby and I are down to the metal with our rebuild (Jana's Camper restoration link) its a quest I'll vouch for that. I've found a lot of knowledge gained by looking at the sites of actual vintage trailer restorers and reading and looking at the steps they did...
Thank you I will do that ....It has some water damage so I have to rip out the back of it so we decided to gut the whole thing and make it ours...The motor is in awesome shape 31,000 miles and drove it 1000 miles pulling a boat with no problems....bought it for $600.00...we did do the front end but the whole layout is just horrible
Gotcha! After getting the last of the termites out of ours I feel vindicated! I know when we do get done that I probably won't give it up for anything! I am learning a lot! Finding vintage and retro looking lights for example to fit the back has been a nightmare-its not like I can hop to the UK and find things for a British Commer-esp now that the company is long gone! I did find an original brochure though and a downloadable engine manual so that will help. Somethings will never be answered-like why is there a 2 inch round hole above the rear view mirror-not for the dome light-so maybe a compass? I think I'm going to join an Aussie group I found- just to ask questions!
so I was looking at a 5th wheel today and got some ideas of what I would like to do for the bathroom...I wish there were more salvage trailers out here in northern utah but no such luck...I want a separate shower and toilet....I really dont know if there is going to be enough room for what i want to do since my rv is only 20 feet...as soon as we start I will start posting pics and really need all of your input please ...I will post some pics before we start to tear into it here in the next few weeks

Thanks for all your help
Look at my slide show of mine.Lot of work and time, but worth it.
