I need to remove the bottom layer of skin in order to replace the 1x12. Before I get started on that I was wondering if anyone had advice on how to. I'm thinking of just removing trim and screws and then propping it up to do the work. I don't know if I need to remove the entire side or the skin. It is the side with the water heater so...? And does that bottom piece of wood have a break or does it run the entire length?
This is the video, it's about half way through when I go outside and crawl under to see damage.
