Aloha trailer question.... Are my "seams" on backward?

Hi,
I am a new RV-er. I just bought this 1966 aloha. I am replacing some of these "seams" (I don't know what they are actually called) but I did pick up replacement parts at the RV store because some of them need replaced. The person at the RV store looked at this picture and thought they were inside out-- what do you think? Thank you!!!

Hi Meaghan - If this is the side/rear of your Aloha it is correct - I can't tell if that is a side running light or tail light. This is called "J" rail or drip rail.  Sometimes the application doesn't seem logical but if this is the side of your trailer it is intended to wick the water down the chute from the rail across the side/top. It is a tedious task to clean up and replace the "J" and make sure that whatever sealant you use creates a tight seal between the rail and the siding.  Good luck and congratulations on your Aloha!
