I am contemplating the same for Toby a 270. I run a site dedicated to the Dodge Travco, I have two 1969 and '70. I was thinking re-fiberglassing the seam is the only way to go before putting too much time, materials and effort into the coach walls/floors and general rehab.
I love the purity of bringing the fiberglass down to the core and then starting from there.
Any thoughts, heads up and /or comments on this process?

i didn't re-fiberglass the seam but instead used a bondo product called bondo w/fiberglass.bought it at a big
box store.easy to work with, strong and flexible.it was done last winter while in florida and is holding up well.
i found the original FG roof seam had lifted completely in some places or along the edges.after grinding all
back,i then applied the bondo product.i watched it closely for 6 months before painting the roof.it's been a
year since application and i'm happy with the results.
