Greetings fellow campers!
I am curious if anyone has some tried and true methods for getting rid of bathroom/urine scents? I have a cabinet that was obviously used with a porta potty and with the dampness, you can smell a definite (thankfully not strong!) odor.

I've been trying some clove essential oil in a mister and its helping but I'm afraid it's just covering it and truly eliminating it.
I like to stay as natural and good for the environment, as well as good for my beloved Bravo..,but at this point I'm willing to try anything.

I've hand scrubbed it with a diluted bleach solution as well as ammonia...any other thoughts or suggestions?

Much appreciated!
Peace and love

Have used a bowl or 2 of vinegar with success. Let 'em sit, windows shut for as long as you can.

Also had luck with: http://www.pgcscientifics.com/FIRE-D-DEODORIZER-p/28-7102-50.htm

Also helped friend with a similar problem, wound up replacing the wood that picked up the odor.

Try a solution of water mixed with Baking soda then rinse well.Once dried try coating the area with some clear sealer or shellac.

Mild bleach solution in water can help. Sometimes followed with the enzyme "pet" products.

I've had success using baking soda dissolved in water with a little liquid dishwashing soap.  For large areas, put the solution in a garden sprayer and spray on the surface.  Be sure the surface will not be damaged by water, though.
