Ok! I have a 1974 Dodge Brougham Class C (360 engine). I got all of my lights to work accept the right rear turn signal and brake light. The little side right rear light will come on when I pull the switch for the running lights. But it won't blink like the left one when using the turn signal. I have changed all of the bulbs and fuses and am at a lost as what to do. I bought a Digital Multimeter 10 MegOhms and at a lost as how to use it. LOL I been trying to find a wiring diagram for my RV and been coming up with nothing. Any advice?
Thanks!
Sounds to me like either the power wire or the ground wire to the right signal/brake light is broken somewhere along the line. Check the ground connection at the light and at the ground source both for corrision if you haven't already. Electrical problems are the squats and the hardest to find in most cases.
Thanks! I'll check that.
Also, your brake light wiring is routed up through the turn signal switch in the steering column. If the right signal switch has gone bad then you will have no brake lights on the right side also. Does your right front signal work? If so it probably isn't the switch but I never place bets on electrical.
I just spent twenty minutes writing a tutorial on how to check this, and then hit the Reply to this button rather than the Add reply button and lost all that I had written. If you haven't figured it out by tomorrow, let me know and I'll try to hit the right button.

HEy, if you are stuck still with this light issue, Let me go thru the testing with you, I am also in Portland and I understood the Blink-the-brakelight type tunrnsignals since I was eight.... call me 503-464-6958!
I got it to work. There was a weird connection problem in the bulb socket its self.
