One fall season my wife, daughter, the dog and I were camping in the tall pines of northern Arizona. We camped in the same area I camp while elk hunting in the dead of winter. Its back in the pines about 200 yards from a small pond.
Since my 61 trailer doesn't have indoor plumbing the girls use a port-a-john out behind camp. Well my wife and daughter decided they needed to use "the bathroom" in the middle of the night. Re-read the title of this story.
This bull elk got wind of the girls going to the bathroom and made his way into camp. He let out an awesome bugle and began to sing to the girls. It scared the piss out of them.
Anyway when ever my wife calls my cell phone her ringtone is a bull elk bugling.
