A truly beautiful place.  Between hiking, bouldering, and stargazing; this is a special spot.  Nice days during the winter season, with cold nights.  Summer is impossible, best to go in spring and winter.  One of my favorites.

This is somewhere I have always wanted to go. Thank you.

I agree, also Death Valley around spring break is outstandingly beautiful

We spent New Years at Furnace Creek in Death Valley this year.  What a great experience.  Unfortunately we could not get onto the Racetrack because it was still a little wet, but there were many place to go and see.

I went with a group of friends so costs are little fuzzy.  We were there for three nights and had to pitch for a couple of group meals.  The total was $40 plus the $20 entrance fee.  The park was not to clear on how long you can stay there.

You have to book pretty far in advance, I think we booked it in June and most of the sites were already taken.  Hope you can get there.  We are more than likely going back there next winter to go see some of the places we missed.
