Some Ford P-350 chassis info.104" wheel base for the 1967-up F-17 models. This motorhome is taller than it's wheel base. The short wheel base chassis also has a one piece drive shaft.1966 Lifetime Premier and 1967-up F-19 models used 122" wheel based chassis's.They where equipped with two piece drive shafts.

My 1967 Winnebago has the P350 chassis.

Hi Larry,do you think its a F17 or a F19?Whats your wheelbase?

It is an F17. The plate on the door frame has the chassis listed as P350.

Here's my 1967 lifetime I'm working on.

Nice Lifetime Tom.What are those wheels from?

Kind of a long story but I acquired this LifeTime from a good friend who used to take it right on the beach on Cape Cod so he put wide 33x12.5R16.5 tires on it. He also did a lot of custom (rustic?) work on the inside. It's in good running order but I'll need to work on the exterior. I don't think I'll be talking it on the beach but I will be heading up to New Hampshire with it next week for a few days of camping in the woods.

Beauty you have there!

Winnebago also made a 1971 F-17 Renegade model for $5999.00 What a great deal!

This is the only F model that I know of with a name from Winnebago.

Hello All,

I just picked up this vintage f-17. New tires, brakes, brake booster rebuilt. Now I  need to replace one front spring pack, wondering the best option. replace both I would assume..  Thanks for any input. I would figure if I had some built it would be spendy....

Hi Kevin, nice F17 you have there! The way Winnebago set this model up put a lot of weight on the drivers rear corner when the middle gas tank, holding tank and water tank are full. When they are empty the drivers rear spring will force the front passenger side down.Check out the drivers rear spring and you will see that it has a lot more spring leafs then the passenger side.
