Been a lurker on this forum for a short period of time. Last year to attend the graduation of my son from Basic Training, I had the good fortune to find and buy an 89 Elandan, 37 ' model. Excellent shape with lot's of accessories and camping stuff from the owners who had gotten in ill health and couldn't use it any longer. I can only speak for me here and say that over many years I would see those motorhomes coming and going through our town and I thought they were the best looking ones on the road. Now I have one. I love the classic lines and functional interior with no slide outs and a reliable GM big block engine. I'm working overseas and have been for a few years. I'm hoping to be at home for next year to actually use it more than once. By now you are probably wondering the point of this thread. Maybe so am I. let's call it my introduction to the world of classic RVs. I appreciate the effort to have and maintain the website and to the people who post their stories and questions too. I love to read what is written here and see what others have done to their vintage units. My thanks to all here. Please keep posting your stories. You can never tell where someone may be to read your story. It helps to pass the time for sure. You all be safe and take care of each other.

Enjoy the old campers and post your pics so I can enjoy them too.

Thanks again..
