We went to look at a 1977 Itasca that had a similar handle. Seems most between 1970-90 have that same or similar latch. First thing my husband did was pull the door shut and snap off the handle. It wasn't exactly the correct model but I called their number as suggested on the item. The saleswoman was very knowledgeable and was able to find the handle part I needed for only $39.95 + shipping.
i do the same thing since i b…tag:goodoldrvs.ning.com,2016-03-08:2093474:Comment:2854762016-03-08T16:40:31.452ZRobert Daggetthttps://goodoldrvs.ning.com/profile/RobertDaggett

Robert, I spent some time on E-bay looking for salvaged or nos but ran out of time before my eye lids slammed shut. I get on there every once and a while looking for 16" wheels for my rig never found anything for either one of us but I will keep looking around.

Just from the pictures Robert, it looks like a standard form factor that you can go to an RV dealer and get a modern new one. (albeit they are in the hundred dollar range as well) Try googling PPL Motor home parts. It's a camper parts supplier similar to camping world. I have bought from them in the past and find them to be reputable. Also Try reaching out to Jimco_W001 he is all things Winnebago"s or, others in the Winnebago owners group linked at the top of the page. good luck!
