Hi all. I am in the middle of a complete rebuild on our trailer and have a few questions in regards to flooring. I would like to install the floor covering on the deck and build over it as they do in the factory. However, most installation instructions call for a relief gap along the edge. We have found a floor we really like (ivc earthscapes fiberglass/vinyl sheet) but it requires the darn relief gap around the edge. Has anyone used this product with installation of walls and cabinets etc over it with any luck? We want to stay with a classic/vintage look that normal felt back vinyl does not have (they all look like ceramic tile). We like vct, but will that hold up to the floor movement the trailer will endure? Real linoleum would an awesome look as well. The other problem is that the shop I am working in stays at 49 degrees all the time, so this limits my options for installation. So I guess to sum it up: 1. Anyone used the new fiberglass/vinyl floors? 2. Anyone have long term luck with vct and cabinets built on top of it? 3. Anyone installed flooring at the temperature stated above?

Many thanks

Kevin

I am curious to hear responses to this. My husband and I have some Marmoleum squares we are thinking of using in our 1966 Aladdin trailer.
