Does anyone know where to get insurance for our RV CONTENTS?

We're full-timing in a 78 Winnebago and need the equivalent of home-owners or "renter's insurance" to cover our STUFF.

Comprehensive is pretty expensive and, from what we're told, doesn't really cover contents well only the rig itself which ISN'T really worth insuring.

Our current agent doesn't seem to be all that interested in doing the research for us to find us the right policy/company.

Anyone have experience dealing with the insurance vultures?

I love my GEICO policy. My policy, which includes my '08 Nitro and '85 Pace Arrow Motorhome, costs $577.20/six month, for full coverage on both vehicles. The motorhome policy includes the standard liability plus comp & collision, then:

1) Emergency Road Service -- includes towing, 1 hour mechanical service at place of breakdown, and $100 lockout service

2) RV Medical -- up to $1,000 for medical expenses occurred by you or your guests

3) Emergency Living Expenses -- $1,000

4) Replacement Cost of Personal Effects -- $5,000

5) Vacation Liability Coverage -- $10,000 liability while RV is parked

GEICO rocks!!!

I'm a member of Good Sam Club & got insurance discount with GMAC.

Full coverage on my 1984 Fleetwood Pace Arrow Eleganza 26'), including all permanent installed items (including awning) and about $3,500.00 for personal contents which can be adjusted as needed. for under $600.00 per year!
