Hello,

I wondered if anyone has any recommendations on how to remove rust from the Aristocrate chrome hubcaps?  I've heard that aluminum foil and water works as well 000 steel wool.  I've heard that SOS pads can scratch the hubcaps since they were intended for stainless steel.  I plan on diggin into this in the next few days and figured I'd see if any of you have any success and or "don't do that" stories.

Thanks,

Brandon

If chrome, I've heard that the 0000 steel wool is a good choice for chrome.

Beautiful!!  I still haven't tried anything on mine because I've been focusing on my plumbing (redoing the entire water system with PEX).  Thank you for posting this, and I am definitely going to use the Naval Jelly.  Did you guys just use a rag to apply it?

Thanks again!

A buffing wheel works well. But you need to know once you get them buffed out if it rains or if they get wet and the water is not wiped off they'll start rusting in about a week or if they are in a moist area.
YES ! ALWAYS NAVAL JELLY ! Brasso does real well too !
