Innovative idea!
Hey! I need some intelligent thought here! I have an idea that could literally make a ton of money! It's GREEN, would work with any RV, camper, trailer, even an electric vehicle. I've already tested it here in the Ozarks with my Winnebago! Has anyone used Kick Starter? Can an "idea" be copyrighted? Patented? I don't want to divulge it til protecting it first! Anyone taken an idea to fruition? Thanks!

Check with the USPTO for info. Since 1995, there is a provisional patent which is good for 12 months. If you go the provisional route, you must file for a utility patent within that 12 months or lose the right to patent that invention forever! If you are not sure of the potential of your invention, this may be a good way to proceed as it doesn't cost much ($65 to $260) and provides protection so you can divulge your invention.
