Interesting; it would be great to find a covering that could be laundered and even changed fromtime-to-time. Keep us posted.

Don't laugh, but I've seen an interior wall treatment for houses that uses a good quality fabric and sticks it to the walls using (get ready) heavy starch. The fabric stays up until you get tired of it, or it gets dirty--and then can be pealed off the wall and laundered or replaced. I don't know a soul who has tried it in an RV, but I'm going to put some up on the previously painted interior of my vintage camper and see how it works...

Todd I rely on liquid nails for everything ! While working on my 95 Dodge custom van I use liquid nails for every wood joint and then either use screws or nails. Later on down the road you can be assured that there will be no squeaks or rattles. Best thing the Good Lord invented since Eve!

I used construction adheasive (liquid Nails) and paneling from Menards, a couple of years ago, on the sleeper above the cab after I had gutted it. On my current 1990 Class C, the paneling is tired and worn. I found paneling at Menards that is thin and hardboard based, that looks very RVish and only $16 for a 4X8. I'm planning on Liquid Nails directly to the old panel.

Thanks for the reply - - -Is this material available at Home depot, Lowes or Ave Hardware? Does the contact cement allow sufficient time to move the paneling a bit if necessary or is it one of those that once the two surfaces touch there is no moving them?

I wish we were at a pont that we could show off our little day-tripper. We have a long way to go; and I don't know how to put photos on here.

I will get some photos on here though as soon as I learn how.

We did our ceiling with the same thing. But we used 4x8 sheets of laminate (Formica or Wilsonart) on the walls. They do get pretty expensive, but we only needed 2 or 3 sheets, We used Liquid Nails to adhere to the ceiling & walls. Do you have pictures on here?
