hello, i am purchasing a 69 banner camping trailer. needs lots of work. a good paint job on the outside, and serious tlc on the inside. i am brand new to this. love the retro era. anybody having some suggestions, much appreciated. i need to paint the outside first. it is a horrible blue. would like to change it to silver. also cannot find a thing on the web for the banner camping trailer co. would love to know what it originally looked like, to keep it true.

Guenevere, click on the forum post right below yours in Vintage Restoration and there are some good tips and good old rv members you can contact about painting your 69 Banner. Also, if you have fairly fast internet click on the VIDEO on the upper left of the home page 48 Flexible bus... it's the green on and it shows paint prep and them painting it in their back yard with great results.

I'd also highly suggest you click on VKs stuff and her web site to see many trailer restorations and tips.
It's on the left of our home page here under Vintage Restoration and Sites we like.

Great if you can commenet back here in the forum on how it is going, what your found and what you need. pat
It might be very helpful for you to view the restoration photos of Pete and Joseph's Sierra Trailer Restoration. The photos take you through the complete restoration process, including showing some painting and the paint cans in the back.
