On most later-early model trailers, was almost 90% chance they are a 14" or lower profiled 15".

Always get tires designed for trailers,(not cars). The side walls should be rated a *D or *E.

Trailer tires have a heavier side wall, to carry the weight and NOT buckle on bounces and turns.

As far as tread pattern, you don't need criss cross treads,, They will wear out rather quickly. A straight groove pattern is best recommended.

Ive seen people *skimp on tire quality, only to blow tires or even worse aquire damge to their RV's.

Remember,,Thats your home away from home, And having good rubber underneath is benificial.

(Be sure to inspect and grease wheel bearings routinly.)
Hi Kristie,

Hi Kristie,

I can get the tire size later today. I'm not sure what area you live in but we were able to get all 4 tires for $368 a few months ago. We were sure to get RV tires rather than just 'regular' tires. I hope you love your Holiday Rambler as much as we love ours! We had so much fun with it this past summer.

Can anyone help me with what size tires are needed for a 1971 Holiday Rambler? Me and my 2 girls just got one and the tires are to old to see a size on them. And how hard will it be to find them and a few lug nuts for them? Any help would be greatly appreciated!! Thanks

We recently bought a 1971 holiday rambler (complete with the original manual) and it looks almost identical to yours. The only differences look to be those made by previous owners. The sinks are the same, counters, etc. I'll try to scan the manual so that I can share it.

Hi Coleman. Nice little trailer. What I would do to narrow down the year would be pull the make and model numbers off of some of the components, eg. the stove, water tank, propane tank, water heater, you get the idea, then call a parts store if you have one you deal with. Most times you can get the mfg date ans applications from them through the mfr.. also look at the axles and/or hubs, same process good luck and enjoy! Rob

I can put water into the camper on the drivers side near the front of the camper. While hooked up to a water hose I can use water throughout the camper, without the pressure pump. Right now the pressure pump is not working on my camper so I only have water pressure while I hooked up.
