Hello my first post here. Well my first RV was a 1979 Dodge Chinook which turned out to need a lot of work which I got for $700 plus the $200 tow when it died on the way home, so it was became a $900 Chinook. Then my second purchase, a 24ft Pace Arrow which has much more potential than the Chinookie. I found the Arrow for $600. Popped a couple batteries and drove it away to the previous owners disapointment, until it died on the way home. I will be selling the Chinookie if anyone is interested, the Arrow will be my project I will be spending most of my attention on and will take as many pics as I can.

My first question, Will the 16" wheels and tires work on the 24ft Pace Arrow ? The 17.5 tires on the Arrow are all cracked but the Chinook tires are like new.
I have started working on the Pace Arrow roof today and need some roof sealant advice. The top of this Rv is aluminum with aluminum side rails joined to plastic siding. Since this is not a rubber membrane roof will a box store 587 roof sealant work ? If the sheeting is not rotten I plan on peeling up the aluminum and re gluing the skin back down flat to the sheeting since it as some warps and is separated in many spots. All the trim rail screws are rusty and are getting replaced and resealed as well.
