Opinions please: styrofoam board and mylar space blankets to insulate ceiling

Hi, I couldn't find a current discussion on this subject, hope it's okay to start a new one. Just got a 77 Dodge Sportsman Tioga. The ceiling had spots from former leaks (that's another subject). I've taken off the ceiling panels and pulled out the old insulation. Now I've got a pile of 1" styrofoam board off craiglist free stuff and I've ordered 20 emergency blanket. What do you think? Yes? No? Mylar first or on both sides? There's only room for one panel of styrofoam. Plan to cover with wood for the finish. Thank you!
