My '68 camper had a porta potty in it from the factory. It was plumbed with 3 or 4 inch black pipe. The guy I bought said the only time you could use it was when You were hooked to drain. Put water in tank for flushing but no holding underneath. Had sons cut it out but like a dummy, I didnt look at it before they put it in the trash. The Reason I took it out is when You sat down Your knees were in Your chin. Anyone ever seen one. I was thinking about buying a new 5 gal porta pot & cutting a Hole in bottom & fixing some 3 or 4 " sewer pipe to it with a cut off valve under porta potty  & one on the dump line side to empty it. . Any thoughts or ideas??????   Wishbone-Ks

Problem with direct dumping, even with a small fresh/gray water following, is getting the dump hose clean.  Even though you are talking 3 or 4 inch pipe and 'stinky slinky' the yuck doesn't flow real fast and there is nothing but water pressure to push it along.  Basically you would be dumping the porta-potty into the discharge hose where all the solids will sit, and now you have a new problem.

With our first trailer, having a porta-potty readily available for night use was one of my brides requirements.  What I did, since I don't like having my knees in my chin just like you, I made a platform to set the potty on.  My platform was only 4 inches tall, not much but enough to make use much more comfortable.  If you have a location, build a platform to the height that best suits you and then you just have to dump the small holding tank on the porta-potty.  Still not the most lovely job but there are a couple tricks that can make that better as well.

Thats what I'm doing now. I have it sitting on an old Coke wooden Case. Seems to be the right Height. My wife says I need to move it to the other end of Bathroom & turn 90 degrees so it faces out of the bathroom door. It will give Us More Leg room.(LOL) The funny thing the Porta Potty sits on Pop Case & never has Moved or slipped off Case. Dumping is one of My least favorite things to Do. I'm thinking about lining the whole bathe room with that Plastic Shower wall stuff caller FRP. Wishbone
